It's no secret. Testimonials have been made up for decades upon decades. Rod Serling even stated in an interview with Mike Wallace (a lOOOOONG time ago) that his job at a TV station before the Twilight Zone came out on TV was to make up tesimonials for the sponsors of the TV shows. Mike Wallace said nothing in response. The whole thing was very passe as if to imply, "Yeah, of course. That's the way you do it".
And of course we all know that these bigtime gurus all give each other testimonials (and sucker a few not-so-gurus to give them one to make it seem more legit). They label it as a "joint venture" to get away with it.
Fact is, you don't have to spend nearly $200.000 to learn how to make money from blogging and it isn't going to happen overnight (unless you are good a splogging). You don't need a "guru" to figure that one out.
