Hi Cathy,
That's a tough one for a couple of reasons. First, all of Mike's products tend to be good (if not very good), so it's difficult to recommend one over another. Second, I'm not sure what your greatest need is at the moment or where you are in your business' journey, so it's hard to tell what to suggest. Some people may need the basics; others may need to drive traffic to their website, build a list, or develop products, etc.
Carbon Copy Marketing is a good starting text. I have a copy of it and it contains lots of good information, plus you have access to screen capture videos that show you how to do a lot of the tasks. I'd classify it as being a beginner to intermediate level product. And to be completely open about it, I also think that it could use some updating. Having said that, it is a good book -- and if you don't like it or don't think it's a good fit for you, Mike will honor his guarantee.
I also like screen capture videos. I'll play the videos on one computer, pausing and restarting as needed, while I work on another computer. And once you order Carbon Copy Marketing, there's a link on the download page where you can order the videos on CD for about $20 (which I'm going to do). That makes it easy to watch them whenever you want -- and also enables dialup users (like me) to fully access the videos "whenever".
