The Tim... Dear The Tim...
Don't you EVER slow down enough to understand what you're reading??
Has it escaped your attention that Dave -- who asked the question -- had NO CLUE that any of the "gold" companies had been raided by the FBI, or that the money had stopped flowing. ALL he had to go on were the promises from Mazu (who has always been Matt in my book; who the h-e-double-tootsie-rolls is Michael?).
Anyhoo, in view of the information he had available at the time, his questions are PERFECTLY REASONABLE... and by coming to a place like this and ASKING THEM, he is doing the sensible thing.
Also, you may note that he did NOT buy the course because he could not get the answer he sought.
Alsotwice, reading between the lines is quite possibly beyond your capabilities with coffee blowing everywhere, but it is more like INTELLECTUAL CURIOSITY at this point -- which is quite different than looking for fairy dust so you can get your fair share.
Now let's get down to brass tacks:
> I warned everybody away from it
Yes you did.
> even as I grappled with the demon of eDave, who has belatedly come to his
> senses, although to be fair, I don't think he ever believed it was real. He
> just wasn't as animated against the scams that made him money.
And he wasn't sure... remember that part?
> He's still taking that 'wait and see' attitude though,
As is everyone else left holding the bag, don't you think? (No, you don't think, you just spout, but I digress.)
> hoping against hope
> he'll get his hands on $40,000 worth of pixie dust. Ummm pixie dust. If he
> somehow got an eGold check for $40k tomorrow I don't think he'd share any of it
> with the folks who lost it (suckers!!).
eDave owes NO ONE because he did not PROMOTE IT... don't you get that? Nobody who lost money -- even me -- can blame eDave for it. I asked him tons of questions, he warned me that I may never see my money again because nobody was quite sure how it worked, and I CHOSE to sink my life savings into it (okay, so it was only $35.00, but it's all relative, right?).
He was NOT recruiting anyone, and that makes all the difference.
If he had been responsible for a bunch of people losing their money, nobody knows but eDave if he would share the wealth -- from which springs my theory:
I suspect he would be more eager to share it than you would.
> Not THAT much honesty among thieves these days is there?
The Tim, you don't want to go nose to nose with eDave in the Integrity Department, cuz in these parts, I expect he'd win by a landslide.

| PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT. It has been done before, but never successfully. In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace.
NEWS FLASH: I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday. I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish. I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?). I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!"
Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures.

In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact.
And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!).
