I'm a Warcraft gamer/addict! In fact, I'm checking this place out while waiting for the latest patch to download. :) That guide to Darkshore mining is great (but when ya gonna do something for us Alliance folks, huh? (teasing)) I'll definately keep it bookmarked... some days I end up looking all over Thottbot for something and just can't find it.
You need to discuss the strategy of having an Auction House mule.
Okay. Enough enthusiasm. To get folks posting, you probably need to get involved with some of the guilds... maybe allow the smaller ones to have a free info page on one of your pages. Lots of the tiny guilds don't have any BBSs (mainly because they're too tiny and too inactive... you might start with that -- asking the new guilds on your server if they'd like a free chat area on your webspace's bbs.
I realize that's only going to hit one server and not all 80 of them. I think if I were you, I'd post on the WOW community boards on Blizzard and add a sigfile link to your message. That should add awareness.
More later, as i think of it. My patch finished downloading and I'm going to go grind on some spiders in Duskwood and look for the iron ore, too.
