How did that individual get the e-mail addresses? No one but you (and possibly your list management company) should have that information.
If you have a small list and manually send out e-mails, then ensure that your recipients are all listed in the "BCC:" field (blind courtesy copy). If you list the addresses in either the "TO:" or "CC:" field, then everybody that receives the e-mail will have a list of everybody else on your mailing list.
If you use a list management service and they are sending out e-mails with all of the addresses (as described above), I recommend finding a new service.
If there is some other way in which your e-mail addresses were exposed, then could you post back and let everyone know how they got the addresses?
And I do hope that you catch the perpetrator. I'd give you more advice on those lines, but you're already in good hands!
