I've got to agree with Sandy that your target audience isn't sitting on the Internet looking for things to sell UNLESS you happen to have a forum with a large population base for pet groomers. Direct mailing is a lot more efficient. Ads at a newsletter/newspaper for any college campus that features pet grooming (or wherever it's learned) are worth every penny of your time.

Yes, have a website for convenient ordering. But your best bang for the buck will be offline.

Here's an example of a website that started out for pet groomers... notice that it hasn't been updated since 2004 although it promises to be a "monthly magazine." The traffic ranking is nonexistant and yet it's one of the top in the category searches. This indicates that groomers just aren't looking for this stuff online.

Advertising at the regional and national pet grooming shows would also be profitable. Your target market is there and hungry for new ideas:

You might also check out dog magazines, breed magazines, and pet magazines that groomers advertise in. They always check their ads and will notice a nice display ad. You can get in some of the smaller magazines for less than the cost of a big web host.

But looking at the dead links for a lot of grooming related things, I think you will find that it's much harder to get the business you want if you target online instead of offline.
