About the recent LINDA CHRISTAS postings....

The following message was posted in the wee hours -- caught by our beloved Mel White while I was snoozing on the job.

Of course it came from the same "CanBecky/Beckandy" IP#67.114.221.239 (insert big DUH here).

Sorry this is so big, but when I made it smaller, you couldn't read it.)

Let it be known that the FIRST THREE positive messages about the Linda Christas organization were NOT nuked.  They currently reside

Soon they will roll off into Ye Olde Archives, at which point they will reside

and there they will remain for all eternity.

Attitudinally speaking, this is my attitude (do you like that sentence?):

I welcome "persons (notice the S on the end?) who actually know something about Linda Christas" --

in fact, I welcome ALL personS who have something positive to say about a web site, product, organization, or opportunity as long as there is reason to believe they are telling the truth.  (Lest you EPI and LLI people are tempted to jump in here, I'll save you the trouble; you don't fall into the "telling the truth category.")

However, when all the personS come from the same IP number -- even if they *are* parentS (PLURAL) writing through the "Linda Christas Help Desk" -- it would be suspect on any board.

THIS BOARD IS PRIVATE PROPERTY.

When I have JUST CAUSE to believe a single person is TRESPASSING ON MY PRIVATE PROPERTY and masquerading as several different people --

whether I am right or whether I am wrong --

I have the RIGHT and I have the OBLIGATION to step up to the plate.

I will choose to nuke the messages without further ado --

or, if I think it is something that could be helpful to people researching an opportunity, I will POINT OUT THE *POSSIBLE* CONFLICT and leave the messages up.

In this case, I chose the latter, because there is nothing more telling than a phony reference.

I could be right and I could be wrong.

Maybe this is some kind of weird setup where ALL the Linda Christas parents and members actually *do* write through some "Help Desk" and that's the only IP# that shows.  But y'know, at this point, wouldn't you think someone *other* than a "parent from the help desk" would step in and show them the error of their ways?

It is NEVER NEVER NEVER good netiquette to show up with the same IP number and several different names, and it is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS the right of the board owner to squelch such behavior.

if you're reading this, it's time to remedy the situation and tell your parents to write through their OWN internet connection (which is what I PERSONALLY BELIEVE "they" are doing right now, but like I said, I could be wrong, and anyhoo, I'm getting off track again).

There is NOTHING libelous in my analysis of said "glowing recommendations," and to mess with me would be a TOTAL WASTE of your valuable time. Indeed, it would be like feeding your client's money to a hungry goat.
