Because most people (I'm talking in the high 90s % in my experience) are not as dishonest as you imagine. Especially if they feel they got value for money.
Because if they refund or charge-back they don't get updates (at least not from me). There have been 4 major releases of and about 6 more minor releases (and people who purchased in 2000 get these updates free), there have been 4 releases of CoverFactory and so on.
Because if they refund or charge-back then I don't help them move the software to a new PC if they get one.
Because most of my products involving copying our company's copyrighted materials (example: when you distribute an eBook made using our compiler it includes code that is copyrighted by our company), and there are some rather severe legal penalties for that.
Because if it weren't for ClickBank, I (or rather our company) would be several thousand dollars per month worse off.
I guess by your logic, I should ignore all that, because there are one or two dishonest people out there?
BTW, if you read the page I linked to at ClickBank they are adding a feature that will ban people from additional ClickBank purchases if they've repeatedly previously asked for refunds.
