Do I ever. A lot of their members use spam to advertise, so they got on my radar screen 3 years ago. Mostly concentrated in a community of spammers in the Philippines.

However, the good news is that they and their "mother ship" opportunity are both dead set against spammers. The usual problem is identifying the real perpetrator because they're sneaky and typically use two-stage spam tactics. 2-stage spamming is where you get an email asking you to reply to an email address to get more information. They figure that reply is your "opt-ing in" and totally ignore the fact that they had to spam you to GET you to reply. A few of us routinely sting these spammers to discover who they are, and get them booted.

As long as you didn't first hear of Mach90 in a spam, you might consider joining up. This is not a recommendation, just a way to get more data before you join.

Now, let's get to the heart of the program. Mach90 and another group called 167aday are merely "downline building" operations for Juvio. Juvio is a San Diego based company with legitimate products in the area of PC tech support, training, and now soap and vitamins too, if I remember correctly. Nothing illegitimate about paying a monthly subscription for PC tech support if you need hand-holding a lot.

What Mach90 and 167aday being to the party is the powerline concept. Many MLMs let the member build a downline many levels deep, and many people wide. Then you have to motivate them. Getting them to JOIN the matrix in the first place is also a challenge.

Powerline systems replace the two-dimensional matrix with a single line. The motivational advantage (and you should all know I think this is totally bogus, manipulative crap-ola, but legal) when combined with an operation like Mach90 and 167aday that give away free trial memberships is as follows. When the new members join with a free trial membership, they are exhorted (relentlessly, breathlessly) to upgrade to full, paying members by being presented with a deadline. A totally artificial deadline like the end of the week, end of the month - whatever works.

If the trial member upgrades in time, then all the people (and there may be hundreds or thousands) in the single line below them then BELONG to the newly-upgraded member. And they get sales commission on all the members below them, even if they joined as free members before the upgraded member. Because their position in the line depends on when they UPGRADED, not when they joined in the first place.

If you fail to upgrade before the deadline, then your butt BELONGS to people who might have been below you, but who upgrade first.

This line-fiddling trick works wonders for people who are easily manipulated, and who believe that their position in the line will really, really make a difference in their residual incomes. What it really does is motivate fence-sitters to upgrade to paying members, get into the program, and enrich the operators of Mach90 and 167aday.

Read up at www.juvio.com to find out more about their products. I know the abuse guy and some folks in their legal staff because I work with them to root out the spammers.

NOTICE TO SCUMBEEZLES
(you know who you are... you scream "Foul!" when the truth comes out)
PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT.  It has been done before, but never successfully.  In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace.
NEWS FLASH:  I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday.  I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish.  I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?).  I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!"
Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures.

By posting messages and/or content on the Friends In Business (Scams 101) Message Board, you give permission for Lesley Fountain/Friends In Business/Shoestring Success Publications to display, distribute and use the posting and content for publication, advertising, promotion, excerption or example.         In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact.
And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!).
