Well, you have to understand that there are many MLMers who will post a thread just like yours to get signups. Since you mentioned your brother only and not his sister in-law, and then when we go to the site and see a woman's name, then things get a little shady looking. Such is the way of the scams forums. If I mentioned my MLM site, I am sure I would get the same treatment. That is why I do not bother.
If your post was sincere then ther is nothing to worry about.

BIG PS. If you want to get into MLM, try going with an MLM company who is perfectly fine and perfectly profitable for you by selling their great products, not with the ones who just bank on you recruiting other "sellers" by making them think they are going to get rich. I am a member of one such MLM. I do not actively recruit, I sell the products and I make money. I do, however, also have some dealers under me, but they found me, I did not go around hasseling anyone. Also, a couple were just given to me by the company. If a person buys products or signs up a a dealer with no referral ID, then they assign that person's order/dealership to another established dealer in their area. The company doesn't do any business without paying commisions to a dealer.
They are very honest and they have a great nationally known product not sold in any mass retailer stores of any kind. In fact, the product is the best product of it's kind. It is hard to get the average person to buy it, but it's very popular with a certain large niche market. They love it because they know it's the best out there, not because I or anyone told them, but because they use it and they know.
