First, I want to thank *everyone* who came to my rescue with ideas. I was in the process of implementing Sunil Tanna's "quick & dirty" approach (here's the thread) when I decided to take one last look.

Three hours later, I found... da daaaaaaaaaa!!.....

PayLoadz!!

For me, it's the PERFECT solution!!

It works with PayPal; in fact, I believe it works exclusively with PayPal, but that's okay with me because PayPal is WAY cheaper than the other third-party processors.

== PayPal charges 2.9% plus $0.30, as opposed to Clickbank's 7.5% plus $1.00, and there is NO charge to get started.

== The good news is, your customers do NOT have to be a member of PayPal to pay with any major credit card.

== With PayPal, you can scoop your money out as often as you want, without waiting for "payday" twice a month.

I'm sure there are advantages to the other third-party processors, but for me personally, these were the important ones for now.

AND GET THIS!!

== You get AFFILIATE TRACKING for free as part of ANY premium account (even the $15 one).

== True, they don't pay your affiliates for you like Clickbank does -- that means you have the headache of writing checks and filing 1099 forms -- but for me it's perfect. I'd rather have a minor headache and save 1.6% plus $0.70 per sale, at least until I start selling big-ticket items.

PayLoadz is SO EASY it's unbelievable!! It took me all of 60 seconds to get my e-book in the system.

A BASIC ACCOUNT is free (you can sell up to $500 per month and stay Basic) -- and when it's time to upgrade, you can choose "flat rate" and pay a MAXIMUM of 3% (it goes down with volume) -- which only brings the PayPal + PayLoadz total to 5.9% plus $0.30 per transaction.

SECURITY was my big bugaboo.

It absolutely sent chills up my spine to think of putting my download page right there for all the world to see. It's ridiculous!!

On the BASIC plan, it's still on your own site, but an EMAIL is sent to the buyer, directing them to the download page. THAT'S WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR... OH RAPTURE!!

You can upgrade to the lowest Premium account for $15 a month, and then it is on their servers and totally hidden.

OH RAPTURE!!.... (did I say that already?)
