You are correct about this being an MLM. And Xango is just one of the many juices being promoted via MLM. It's very likely that many Xango reps left TNI or one of the other Noni touting MLMs. And, next week or next month, some in your likely upline will be moving to yet another nutritional MLM.
The old "what have you done for me lately" rule applies quite frequently in building an MLM business. If one shows a declining market, many professional MLM'ers have another one they are ready to jump to.
If you take the time to track posts by some in MLM, they are promoting a different product or company nearly every year.
You'll find some at MLM.com who are currently promoting Xango, while you'll find others who were involved, but have moved on to the latest and greatest.
Proceed with caution, make sure you go into an upline that will support you, and not just play the blame game if this opportunity doesn't match their projections.
