I am trying SO hard to push my husband into something -- ANYTHING -- other than going to work at Kinko's where he brings home LESS than $300 a week, but he isn't the entrepreneur type.
I decided to start a "specialty cleaning service" to include several services because of the limited market where we live -- including power washing, cob-web cleaning (I swear, if you stayed in your house long enough you'd be locked in by spiderwebs), poop-scooping, and something else that escapes me at the moment -- but like everything, it takes TIME to get it rolling, and I can't take time away from what I'm doing to get him started.
I like your idea better... MUCH better.
Much more regular, without the need to keep drumming up new business constantly.
How did you find your business? Decide on pricing? Was it luck that you stepped into a good contract so quickly?? Anything else you want to share??
