Professional spamware always forges the from address, and many recipient's filters now are checking to see if the domain exists (resolves) before accepting the email. So the spammers who used to forge fake domains now have to pick from a (usually rotating) list of real domains.

A competent abuse staff will always understand the situation, and read the headers properly. Hope yours is one of them. The spam's recipients, however, might include some boobs who might attempt a revenge mailbombing, so you should be careful to not accept bounces to random usernames at your domain. How are you seeing the rejections now? Are they being sent to "postmaster"?

That's a problem. Is it a familiar language that Babelfish might help translate?
What kind of domains are you seeing bounces from? That may be a clue to the target population.
