I've been looking for a web site or two in need of proofreading and polishing so I can start my proofreading service with a couple of references.
I'm very good -- excellent, in fact -- and I've been in the business for 23 years, but due to the contract with my former best friend who stole my company when I moved, I cannot contact any of my old clients for references, so I am essentially starting from scratch.
I didn't want to ask because I didn't know if you realized your sales letter could use an extra pair of eyes and I didn't want to be offensive -- but since you do, and I do, could I do it for you free just to get a happy customer?
