If you put it plainly in your description that this deals with weight loss, that may grab a few visitors.
The top-ranked page at Google has a pr of 2, and the ones under it have a pr of 0.
You can probably grab #2 spot pretty easily.
BUT, from what I've seen, the people are searching for the exploding whale video. (If you get a chance, read Dave Berry's article about it...hilarious!!)
One thing I would consider carefully, besides the "disgusting blog" and the exploding whale, the term "blubber" is considered derogoratory and might not lead to good traffic.
Think about it, in school the kids called the fat ones "blubber gut" and such, and I believe that a weight-loss site with "blubber" in the title might not be such a good idea.
Remember Susan Powter? The woman who looked like her hair was cut by a chainsaw? She made a mint with her "Stop the Insanity" book. Got her own TV show. Made a mint off of helping people lose weight and inspiring them.
"Stop the Insanity!" was a good verbal and written hook, it got folks to wondering: "What Insanity? What's she talking about??" and Susan's story took it from there. Plus the title was memorable.
"Formerly Fat", in my opinion, is a much better name. BUT, the competition is stronger. The top ten results have a pr of 3-5, with one pr of 0 that has many backlinks. But the top 10 are not SE optimized, so you'd have a good chance of beating them out.
Besides, why are you concerned about being personally attached to it? If you're emotionally involved, then that message will come across in your writing and transmit itself to your visitors. It'll make your site more believeable, more real to your visitors.
Judging from my somewhat jaded viewpoint (from studying so many websites) a website that is strictly set up to make the owner money comes across as bland, uninteresting, and I click off of it.
The "personally involved" websites are the ones that get my attention.

| PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT. It has been done before, but never successfully. In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace.
NEWS FLASH: I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday. I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish. I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?). I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!"
Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures.

In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact.
And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!).
