Hello Everyone,
Before I ask my question I wanted to let you all know that I am still plugging away at the courses necessary for my BS. Getting closer! (Good Lord it is exhausting but think of the party come graduation)
Anywhoooo....
I have a site that was written for me in php format. This is all new territory to me and I don't want to go messing it up. There are some minor changes that need to be made on the site (namely in the FAQ area) and I would like to know:
1. I found FAQ.php in the files that were sent to me that are meant to act as backup files. I opened it up in Frontpage and it certainly looks like I can simply type in the changes, resave it, and upload it. Is this the case? Can I simply edit this as if it were an htm or html file, save it, and then simply FTP it to the server? Or is this like CGI in that it must be uploaded using ASCII with specific settings so as to allow everyone to view it?
2. Is there anything else I might need to know about php before I go into Webmastering this site? I have messed up many a site in the past by going in and mucking around without really knowing what I was doing. Don't wanna do that again!

I have started trying to read about php on some of the "Hey learn this stuff here" sites but frankly I need a little quick assistance in getting these specific answers in order to move along in starting to market this new site. Thanks again in advance. : )
