I am involved with Quixtar. Their products may look generic, but are very good products. It is just a mindset that you have to follow. For a lot of people the name brands they buy is all they will ever buy. That is why Quixtar has partner stores. I actually sell cell phone service through quixtar and can hire some people based on commissions only. That is not something that most do. It is all what you make out of the oppurtunity. What I do is use a lead service of people interested in home business. I don't bother the people I know who do not have an open mind to changing or doing something challenging.
The one down side that people are using against Quixtar/Amway is the people selling the motivation or empowering. They attempt to brainwash and make a killing doing it. It is just like all empowering companies you are hearing about right now. They are taking advantage of the people that are wanting to do something, but really don't have the idea how so they think someone telling them positive thoughts is going to help them. My advice would be not to get into something to challenging for yourself. Don't ever buy hype. Quixtar is a good company with some greedy rats at the top. The idea is good most of the people involved are good people.
