Ever hear of the "Lost books of the Bible?" One book is the Apocalypse of Peter.
In it is a description of Hell, and the torments of Hell. (Very scary stuff)
Here's a sample of the delights waiting for those who lend in usury:
31.) "And in another great lake full of foul matter (pus) and blood and boiling mire stood men and women up to their knees. And these were they that lent money and demanded usury upon usury."
So Boils are a mild form of punishment, at best.
