Posted By: The big DOg! In Response To: Here's what MaaMaw thinks of Don and his ideas... (R Hagel)

I have personally emailed him on several occasions. He charges some bux for his ideas but you gotta love the guy. He doesn't hide behind anything or any secrets or magic. If you email him about his bizopps, he will give you the gist of it. I have asked him for his advice on selling ads. He has given me some good knowledge. I actually make it a point to save a lot of his posts. I have printed them and put them in a scrapbook.
Don's business are probably not for the shy. THey all revolve around going to businesses, meeting with people face to face and selling your product. If your afraid to do that or to call prospects you may want to move on. I can vouch for the fax bux though. My last unit I was in at my job received a subscription from a place called FAX NEWS her in Cincy, Ohio. It was a page and it had trivia and a few ads. We would pass it around and read it. Also, offices eat out at restaurants all the time. You can create a fax coupon page for businesses. As a matter of fact, I know my office would subscribe to it.
My coworkers eat out all the time. You just have to get permission from the offices and sell the advertising space, but then you have to get out there and sell it.
He also did another program where he created a little booklet customized for local restaurants and would sell ad space in it. He passed it out monthly and I believe it would sit on the table. Tons of people would read it while they waited for their food. I am currently working in depth on a project on an idea I got from him in the first place. He had posted a link to it before so you could see what it looked like.
I have emailed him some questions in the past, he answered them and I am off in the running. I personally admire him and he is 1 of my favorite posters. I will read absolutely anything that he posts.

PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT. It has been done before, but never successfully. In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace. NEWS FLASH: I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday. I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish. I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?). I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!" Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures. Although we may, from time to time, monitor or review discussions, postings and the like on the Friends In Business (Scams 101) Message Board, we are under no obligation to do so. In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact. And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!). |
