Disclaimer: I'm a programmer, so I know about writing programs like the Google and Yahoo search engines.

At this point, your Baloney Detector should be twinging... and not in a good way.

Google is a HUGE system that runs on mainframe computers. It was programmed not by one person but by a staff of several hundred, and it takes hundreds of people to maintain the system. Ditto Yahoo. They are constantly tweaking complex math formulas to find the best way to come up with web searches.
...and this lil' NobodyCompany with Almost no programmers has done a better job at coding and web searching than Google and Yahoo? Somebody's playing you for a real sucker.

Mike, in case you missed it, is hosting Zabang NOT on a huge mainframe (ala Amazon, Yahoo, and Google) but on a rackserver in Indiana. So he might be doing a "directory" thingy, but it's not going to blaze any trails.
Where do you think Zabang is going to get its directory feeds from? There's literally tens of millions of lines of code in a search engine. Mike didn't program that, and he sure didn't program a better interface or search algorithmn.

It's going to be the Next Big Disappointment. And it won't take that long to reach that status.
This has been tried a number of times before, and it's the same thing: nobody wants to go to Another Site to do a plain old Google search when they can search Google in the first place.
He's tried with BannersGoMLM and a number of other programs that brought him money but seem to have been a real disappontment for others. You'd frankly do better to set up that Google ads thingy.
