My Experience with a Liberty Leaguer

Hello all,

I learn something new everyday. I bet all the people on here think that I fall for every biz opp I see and that is not the case. I am actually searching for a home business that is legitimate and that I could eventually earn a profit from. I am not looking to get rich quick.

Anyway I came across a website that said you could earn 200-500,000 a year. Stemming away from my newbie instinct, I just overlooked it but still wanted to know what kind of business this was and how was it possible to make so much money. It turned out to be Liberty League International. Anyway a representative called me and the first thing he asked me was if I had 2,000 dollars which was odd. Then he asked me to tell him something about myself. He seemed very uneasy and anxious on the phone, he kept wanting to know if I had at 2,000-2500 dollars. I told him I could get the money, because I worked, and I had read something on another Liberty League site (which I really think was his) that they work with you through some kind of financing if you don't have all the money upfront. I actually read it in one of the so called testimonials. In the testimonial it stated that the person didnt have enough money to start, so LLI worked with them, must have been a lie because the guy insisted there was no such thing on the website. But anyway He basically ended the conversation once I said that I did'nt have the money in full. Now, I have been ripped off before and I have lost a significant amount of money, Why would this idiot think that I would just drop 2,000 on the table without even knowing what the heck I'd be selling or what the heck it really takes to make the amount of income they say you could make. I am soo sick of things like this happening. They want to know all these things about you and they don't want to tell you anything about what they do.

Anyway, all the regulars here, I have a question:

Are there any legitmate biz opps, with low-start up costs or some kind of financing to work with the individual. All these companies out here want you to come out of your pockets and they don't even want to disclose what it is your really doing until you pay them all this money. Can someone help?

NOTICE TO SCUMBEEZLES
(you know who you are... you scream "Foul!" when the truth comes out)
PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT.  It has been done before, but never successfully.  In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace.
NEWS FLASH:  I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday.  I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish.  I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?).  I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!"
Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures.

In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact.
And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!).
