Another MLM horror story.

My aunt got involved with an MLM 2 years ago. Ever since then all she ever talked about was the damn business and how incredible it was and how the entire family, including the dog should join this "ground floor".

She knew that I was doing good with my internet business, so of course I was a prime target. However, my wife helped me avoid her by tell her I wasn't home every time she came over. Eventually, she got the point.

I knew about this type of business, I have seen the incredibly outrageous income claims these companies usually make in order to reel in members, I have read the horror stories, and I wanted no part of it.

It got to the point where most of the family was avoiding her too, nobody wanted to sit near her at family gatherings because she would try to recruit you into the thing. She made her husband buy her a state of the art computer and an entire room of the house devoted to her office and her business which she was gonna pay her husband back once she was making a six figure income with the business.

Well, after a year she had managed to get a couple of people involved in it with her. And she used to say to my mother... "Sometimes I have to pinch myself to make sure that I'm not dreaming. I finally have my own successful business!"

Well, forward another year later, she has given up. She is now maxed out on her credit cards, her garage is full of unsold products that she had to keep buying in order to save her position as some kind of "leader" status. And her husband is deep in debt paying for all this "Dream business".

I urge everyone out there, Multi level marketing is a very complicated business and often even a scam. Do your research on this type of business BEFORE this happens to you.
