AMERIPLAN IS A SCAM.
I was suckered into Ameriplan by one of my friends two years ago. Since then I have tried three times to cancel my membership, as I never made any money. Ameriplan withdrew money from my credit card account after I faxed them a memo telling them to end my membership. Over the next few months, Ameriplan also withdrew money from my $25.00 my savings acount until I was $300 overdrawn from my savings account. This was after I tried to close my savings acount too.
My brother signed up and because my mom cosigned his savings account, they withdrew membership funds from her account too. These were funds on top of cancelation charges, MEMBERSHIP AND WEBSITE FEES.
LASTLY, I never have met anyone, save the person who sold leads, who has ever signed up a person who wants to buy Ameriplan and not the membership. THIS IS A PRODUCT THAT DOES NOT WORK. My grandparents tried three of their dental refrences, and they were very expensive and only discounted based on their ridiculously priced prices.
GET OUT AND CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT IF THEY DO NOT CONFIRM CANCELATION. SAVE YOUSELF AND FAMILY MONEY.
I am writing this because Ameriplan has made it so I have to pay $600 in charge-offs before I can open any kind of bank account.
