I agree with Tom,

When I started out I was "sucked in" by the advertisements that you don't need
to know HTML. Editors do it for you.

To start with I had a "turn key" store. When I tried to paste a link in I ended
up with a jumbled mess on my page and had to contact tech support...and wait...
and wait....

Also, one of my hosts. For some reason the editor was "scrambling" codes and
Meta tags when I saved my info in the editor. Images wouldn't work. links
wouldn't work. Because it took the value form the beginning of the code and
put it at the end!

Finally, I bit the bullet and learned the basics of HTML. Now, if I have a
problem I can find it and fix it myself. Because of the problem with the
editor, I don't rely on them anymore. I create all of my pages in notepad and
save them as HTML. Then upload. Nothing changes. I don't have to worry about
some programs "bugs" or anything else. I simply rely on myself.

That's the best part!
