Are you into baking? Plants? What kind of things do you like? Do you collect anything?
Find something that you love...and find a way to build a business around it.
I love baking and cooking. I love candles and pretty things. I love to teach people.
I found home businesses that revolve around those things. For me, that worked. I started with basic business kits from these home businesses (one of them five years ago, the other two years ago) and went out and showed these things around to people in my town. I have done shows, county fairs, festivals. I talk to people on the internet, and help them get started in these businesses as well. I do personal coaching and business training with what I have learned over these years.
Don't think hype, but think solid business, like the business you owned. You're not going to find anything that will make you five hundred a week immediately...but with time and effort, you could make good money.
