When the Scummit was closed down (Summit Photographix, the subject of this Scams 101 article, I called my "personal counselor" at home, and he spilled his guts because (well duh) he was trying to save his own skin. I told him some people in my disgruntled dealers group had spent $15,000. He said that was low. He told me each of the "personal counselors" signed up 5 to 6 people per day, and it was not unusual for them to drop $21,000 with that first "investment in their future." They had been in business for seven years, and from that same little hole they were selling four other "opportunities" -- ALL crap and ALL with huge investments required!
What really ticks me off is that no CRIMINAL charges were filed, so they went on their merry way.
Do you know if criminal charges are being filed against WTA? I sure hope so!! It's the only way to stop them, as far as I'm concerned. Fines are a joke.

You're right, I should have one.
Would you consider writing it? I'm up to my eyeballs -- besides which, I've been out of the loop for so long, I'm not sure I know all the tricks anymore. I think you would be more thorough. Do you have a website we can link back to? If you do it, how can we give you credit (besides your name, I mean)???
