The BBB report confirms the response you received below.
This individual is in the business of selling mailing lists. The BBB report didn't mention any line of wholesale or retail products.
At 23 cents per post card (no bulk rate advantage), you will be spending $23.00 per hunderd for postage, plus the costs of cards and lists. Even if the company gives you the lists, you are the one spending $25.00 per hundred, with a hopefull return of 1% response ratio (at best).
What is the commission rate on orders?
What is the best case scenario? If you can beat the odds and get a 2% response rate (Just short of miraculous!) what will your average commissions be on those two sales.
The more cards you send doesn't necessarily add up to a better response rate. So, if you buy more lists and spend more on postage, your profits could drop.
