There are a lot of folks out in cyber land that still use "Dos" for those of us who remember that animal. Also non window machines have a problem with ebook windows compilers.
As you can see a lot of folks prefer pdf but to purchase Adobe is expensive and and good e-bbok complier is under 100.00 and by doing a search on the internet you may even find some free ones.
I use this one ebook edit pro and you can read all about it here and that is what you need to do--some reading on each of these.

I use adobe and I am still using version four which does a pretty good job and I don't use all the bells and whistles that are in the version 7. Version 6 did not always print as it ought to so I stayed away from it.
Ebookedit com and similar sites are geared toward windows and not anything else.
Also, pdf files tend to be smaller in file size.
There are several third party vendors that will help you in collecting money.
I use checks for most of mine--saves on the returns and I am going to follow an example that was listed here not long ago and I am going to use
http://www.propay.com/ which does not require a lot of up front cash something that appeals to me and it helps me retain control over my business to the degree that I want and need.
