We buried a loved one this weekend. My mind hasn't been quite right this week, so it appears I have missed much of the melee involving Matt Gagnon and e-currency exchange. I've been to the board, just not really seeing it I guess. I'm going to make this as short as possible, as I just don't have the energy to get into an exchange with Mr. Gagnon at this point. I just couldn't let this go unanswered, silly I'm sure, but still. I will let it end at this. Matt, if you want to contact me further feel free to e-mail me at radavidson AT hotmaildotcom
Matt said:I would love to see what you found word for word considering me either paid a fee or created the content ourselves.
I will post the link here, it will appear at the bottom of this post. Read through it. You will see that there is quite a bit that is word for word. I don't know why. I'm not saying you stole it from anyone. I'm not saying anyone stole it from you. It just seems a bit fishy to me. Rarely do two separate people, without collaboration, put several thoughts down on paper in the exact same text. I don't know why it is that way and at this point I don't care.
Matt said: If you knew about this resource why did you pay us? OH.........Beacuse you didn't even know about the opportunity until we introduced you to it. Is that worth something? Apparently not.
The fact is that I wasn't paying for an introduction to something. I paid for a course that was represented as being a comprehensive lesson in e-currency trading. I do not believe that is what your course is.
Matt said: I have paid $10,000 for an introduction before. I sent a $3,000 gift to a guy that taught me to trade stocks. Was the $3,000 worth? You bet it was. He taught me short stocks not long after that. I get tired of people that complaint (YES COMPLAIN) I could have found this cheaper or I could have figured it out myself. Then why did you order stuff from us? Because that isn't true. You could say this about any sort of teaching, mentoring or seminars.
And still the fact remains that I didn't pay for an introduction. I paid for an across-the-board training course. What I feel I got was a pep rally for e-currency exchange.
Matt said: We charge $299 which is a steal. You act like we milked $10,000 out of you.
$10 or $10,000. I don't think it matters when what is promised is not delivered. My opinion is that your website and you course are a whole lot of hype and not enough substance. I will say that you make it look very attractive. You are very good at what you do. And just because I don't feel like the course was worth my time or money doesn't mean that there are thousands of others out there that feel it is worth the $299 and much more. E-currency trading is not for me. Neither is your course. And maybe I am an idiot for not getting into it, as it says on your website, but so be it.
Matt said: The opportunity is real. Now you can either complain about it or go and make money. You can't do both.
No more complaints from me. This ends my e-currency adventure. All I ever wanted was a refund. My initial e-mailed refund request to you went unanswered. My second e-mail, which I will admit was probably a little angry, was answered with "why don't you call me?". If I had wanted to talk on the phone about it I would have called you in the first place. E-mail is a much more comfortable medium for me. It seems you think $299 is small potatoes, for goodness' sake you paid $10,000 for an INTRODUCTION. $299 is not going to break my family, but it kills me that I feel like it was money thrown out the window. Returning my $299 wouldn't break your budget ($10,000 for an introduction) and it would go a long way towards restoring my confidence in MAZU.
To anyone else still reading this, sorry for all the silliness and here is the link to Free DXGold training.

PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT. It has been done before, but never successfully. In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace. NEWS FLASH: I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday. I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish. I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?). I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!" Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures. Although we may, from time to time, monitor or review discussions, postings and the like on the Friends In Business (Scams 101) Message Board, we are under no obligation to do so. You are likewise prohibited from posting any false claims against any company or individual. We will fully cooperate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing us to disclose the identity of anyone posting any such information or materials. If you cannot accept or agree with the terms of service for this website and discussion board, you are advised not to post on this board. In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact. And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!). |
