Health Plan Overview

Health Discount plans tap into existing networks of providers who have negotiated discounts to offer to health/dental insurance plans.

These health plans are not insurance but allow people to tap into the networks of negotiated discounts.

It used to be that you'd expect a business to offer you a cash discount, but because of contracts with insurers, health providers can't (legally) offer discounts outside these networks.

There are so many, it's mind boggling. If one asks you to pay for setting up a phone line, keep looking, another one will offer free longdistance as long as you are calling their leads.

Others expect you to pay everything but pay higher commissions. Keep looking.

One question that comes to mind is this... what would YOU as a consumer be willing to pay for this plan?

Some I've seen cost a family up to $100 per month. That includes physician discount networks. Others provide only dental, prescription and chiropractic discounts and cost less than $20 per month.

Sadly, the price differences revolve around two main areas: whether physician networks are included and the commissions paid. The bigger the income promised, the more levels paid, the more they jacked up price over the basic service.

In addition SOME plans used to pay big commissions on new agent sign ups. That's a bad sign too.

What would YOU feel comfortable buying for YOUR family. If the answer ISN'T this company, why sell it?

When I looked at these as a home business opportunity for me... the thing that kept me out of the market was simple: no local providers, let alone one's I really liked.

Again, there are so many, you could spend weeks researching them all.

So I'd ask... which one do you think is fair and that you would buy for your family if no commissions were involved?
