I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I am sure your mother's spirit surrounds you with each doll.
I'm inclined to agree with Perry, and also the person who wrote about the specialized Teddy Bears. Do you have any understanding of the value of the dolls and the molds? Did your Mom make these in NC? Like most states, Carolinians are very proud of their heritage and crafts.
The NC Arts Council would probably love to have one or two to display, along with the story behind the craft. If you are interested, let me know as I have some friends there and have partnered with them on several events. Asheville or Boone NC (the mountain area in general) would be another great location to put some dolls on consignment. They have very unique art and antique galleries. The Mint Museum in Charlotte is another possibility. If you are interested in doing something within NC let me know. I've got a great network of tourism associates through most regions, and they would be able to point you in the right direction.
