Dave's post: "I'll take scammy-smelling game for $100!"

In Response To: MaaMaw, I'm not using naughty language (Dave Mauder (eDave))

Dave, I have NO clue what the problem is. Granted, there are some odd "naughty words" right now in order to reclaim the board, but none of them are in your post as far as I can tell. I'm going to keep at it until I get it...

=======================

If you're reading this, then "I got it".... Dave starts here:

(1) totally legitimate and all it claims to be
(2) a game
(3) an outright scam

I'm with MaaMaw and have to choose - 2.5. As much
as Dave and Mike have
tried to explain it all to me, there are still
things that don't add up.
When that happens, my good sense and experience
tells me it must be a scam.

However, this thing has been going on for 4+
years, and I've personally
talked to a dozen people who do it every day. All
the info about ecurrencies
and how they are exploding on the Internet is true
and can be seen all
around us every day.

So far, I haven't read or heard of anyone even
remotely hinting at the
possibility that they were scammed by DXGold. The
only negatives I was able
to find are from people getting in, having no clue
what they were doing,
having thier investment eaten up by fees (because
they never started
trading) and then complaining that DXGold took all
their money.

So, I'm reluctant to say this is an outright scam.
But a game - definitely!
When I trade, I flat out know I'm just trading
ecurrency with other DX
Merchants who really have no personal or business
need to swap egold for
IntGold or any other gold for that matter. We're
only doing it because we
are earning bonuses for doing it. Seemingly, we're
creating new money out of
thin air. Of course, DXGold is just an "accounting
value" and isn't backed
by anything. It only has value as long as other
people want it, and us
DX merchants want it.

The company (whoever they are) could create
10 T-R-I-L-L-I-O-N
worth of DXGold at the click of a button, and it
wouldn't matter to them.
But, it has to be worth something, somehow,
somewhere, because I'm able to
OutX it to IntGold or whatever and turn it back
into dollars. Where does
that value come from? Heck, I dunno...

I also don't buy that DXGold is "training
us"...well, not 100%. It's been
going on for 4+ years! C'mon, you'd think a few
merchants, like Dave B.
maybe, would be ready by now to take on a client
or two by now!

For now, I'm going with -- It's definitely a game,
but I'm going to keep
doing it because I like what this game pays. With
my seed money safely back
in my pocket, I'll feel much better about
continuing to "play".

I also recommend others DO NOT get involved. But
if you do, it is at your
own risk and you have been well informed here at
FIB.

Dave

MaaMaw again.... for some reason, it was offended
by the word T-R-I-L-L-I-O-N without the dashes. Very weird.
I never made that a naughty word, and all the other "illions"
seem to be okay. EEEEEK!! Could the board be developing
an intelligence of its own???

NOTICE TO SCUMBEEZLES
(you know who you are... you scream "Foul!" when the truth comes out)
PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT.  It has been done before, but never successfully.  In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace.
NEWS FLASH:  I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday.  I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish.  I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?).  I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!"
Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures.

By posting messages and/or content on the Friends In Business (Scams 101) Message Board, you give permission for Lesley Fountain/Friends In Business/Shoestring Success Publications to display, distribute and use the posting and content for publication, advertising, promotion, excerption or example.         In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact.
And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!).
