who was replying to me after I replied to John who determined that I am a bad moderator and you folks need to find a forum with an "OPEN-MINDED MODERATOR."

I wrote a Dear John reply, suggesting perhaps he should spend his valuable time elsewhere.

So Kathy said, "Be honest here, did you get scammed or what? Why are you so dead-set against online businesses, well, a majority of them anyways and you have your picks of a few you don't like! I found your discussion board both informative and frustrating. I'm trying to wade through your half-witted comments about things to find the right answer."

I really felt her post deserved its time in the spotlight, so here it is.

And here's my reply: (warning, I'm feeling a bit testy today)....

Be honest? Okay, I'll come clean. Yes, I was scammed. I lost about $30,000 to scams.

SOB!

I am *devastated* that this has finally come out. How can I face all of you ever again???

This was a closely-guarded secret and was supposed to remain so all the days of my life :-(

When I wrote about it here, I certainly never intended for anyone to actually *read* it!!

Dead set against online businesses?

You mean like this one?

You mean like my other ones? Like the ones that are going to be my family's main source of income in the near future?

THOSE online businesses???????

What I'm against are CRAP.

And HYPE.

And MLMs (and non-MLMs) that promise to "do 98% of the work for you" and promise "no sales."

And ANYONE who preys on the weak, and the desperate, and the inexperienced, and the yet-to-be-burned "opportunity seekers."

There are very *specific* businesses, and types of businesses, that I'm against, and I will pummel their collective heads with my brownies every chance I get.

And I am not just against BUSINESSES.

I am against PEOPLE who come in here with six strikes against them already because they're recruiting for one of those businesses, and they won't stop when asked, and then they try to be slick and sneak their messages in, and they email people off the board, and recruit recruit recruit while yakking ad pukium about "helping people."

Does that clear things up?

You haven't been doing your reading, have you?? It says right here, clear as a bell, that I started this board because "I needed a place to play"...

and play I do.

I love every minute on this board, even when the MLM Fleas are driving me insane.

I love the friends I have made here.

I love handing out my brownies.

And when people behave like a-holes, I LOVE slapping the snot out of them with one of the petrified brownies I keep for just that purpose.

So like it or not, Kathy, and John, and David Brown, and anyone else who has a gripe...

I yam what I yam.

If you don't like what I yam, then move on, because around these parts, I hold all the spinach.
