I actually agree with Savage (mostly)

In Response To: A little more info (Savage)

Savage:

You raise many good points, and for the purposes of this board, I think people should be advised to stay away from DXGold. Especially now that the merchant consoles are closed to new investors. Who knows what's coming next?!

On a couple of the things you said about trading, I will differ...

> Notice some of the recruiters examples. They give the open and the close
> of the transaction but not one word of what was invested and what was
> returned. If the returns are so fabulous they'd put that in there, would
> they not?

I'm more than happy to share exactly what I invested and what my returns have been. Out of pocket back in Nov. 2004, I put in $700 and today my portfolio is worth ~$4,700. If you like, I can even post some screen shots on my site for you guys to see.

> Ask your recruiter for detailed information on his trades. Not just when
> he started one and when it ended but what did he invest and what was
> returned? Look for things like the trades being in close chronological
> order, no gaps of days between trades. They can't on the one hand tell you
> there are more trades out there than anyone can handle and then on the
> other hand show days where they weren't trading at all. NOt if their goal
> is to make money for themselves. And don't let 'em tell you they were too
> busy to get to it, it's once every six days as I understand it. Nobody is
> that busy when it's this outstanding opportunity to make all this money.

I'm also happy to give detailed information about my trades. For instance, I ran an OutX last night via my console and here are the results:

DXG-T-EG EG-SHWKD6SHG Jan 22 2005 5:15PM $350.00 DXG/USD DXMGNServer
ICB 2220E9V 1/22/2005 - 5:16 PM $22.79 DXG/USD edavedxm

It's kinda hard to read that way, but basically, I processed an OutX from DXGold to egold for $350.00 and right after that you see the ICB (instant claim bonus) of $22.79. That's about 6.5% if my math is right.

Then I processed two claims:

DXC-CB EG-E7YMDJXTX Jan 22 2005 5:20PM $11.45 DXG/USD DXCBonusServer
DXC-CB IN-QBEHT8RRM Jan 22 2005 5:24PM $50.44 DXG/USD DXCBonusServer

And the amounts shown there are the claim bonuses which are instantly added to my console float. I think the total amount I had to InX for those two claims bonuses was right around $700 or so. I can get the exact number if you're curious.

As you can see from the times, I made $84.68 in 9 minutes of trading. This is not uncommon, but in my case, my limited funds run out rather quickly and I then have to wait days (possibly) to OutX them again to ecurrency so I can trade some more. If I had more to work with, I could have kept doing similar trades and collecting those bonuses.

Dave

NOTICE TO SCUMBEEZLES
(you know who you are... you scream "Foul!" when the truth comes out)
PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT.  It has been done before, but never successfully.  In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace.
NEWS FLASH:  I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday.  I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish.  I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?).  I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!"
Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures.

In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact.
And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!).
