I was wondering why you didn't respond to my previous two emails, and I come here and see you were busy giving your site a facelift!

Then I got an email from you but I didn't have a chance to answer. I was too busy adjusting to being canned and not living deadline to deadline for the first time in 24 years (DOES LIFE GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS??) (well yes, I suppose it does if you have money to pay the mortgage and eat all in the same month, but I digress).

I am also *completely* obsessed with getting my adoption book ready to sell.

Oh poop. I really REALLY want to play!! Any clues when we newbies will be able to start??

I'm going to do some P4 trades right away, but I have to say this:

While I am starting to understand the mechanics to some small degree, I still have NO CLUE why I can trade with "other merchants" and get 5% extra -- no clue at all. I understand trading one ecurrency for another so somebody in Timbuktu can buy something from somebody in Ambrosia -- but trading with another merchant doing the same thing I'm doing?????????

I don't get it -- but I guess I don't have to get it to do it.

Any net gain at *all* for doing nothing but moving money around makes absolutely NO good sense to me, but I'm going to stop worrying about the whys and wherefores and just do it.

The instructions you gave, however, make perfect sense, thank you very much. I'll get on it ASAP.
