Everyday Wealth - Any Opinions ???

Posted By: Ryan
Tuesday, 18 January 2005, at 6:08 p.m.

I have been looking into an opportunity with Everyday Wealth. I have searched about all avenues I know on the net - have come up with more positive feedback than negative so far. I am looking for a good, scam-free self-employment, work from home opportunity.
What started my search for this opportunity a few weeks ago was a friend’s involvement with LLI. My friend came to me for my opinion on LLI, he was excited about it - I was skeptical. It didn't take much research on my part to find enough info on LLI to stay away. My friend is still fired up about it, I'm curious to see how it works out for him.
While learning about LLI, I also learned about EP - formed same opinion on them, stay away.
I travel often with my current job & have heard Radio ads in several different markets in the Northeast for a "Debt-to-Wealth" program - how to get out of debt in 5 to 7 yrs with only your current income. The Ads have only an 800 # to contact for more info. I called them last week, I spoke with an operator, and they get your address to send an audiotape to you. Before she disconnected I asked her for a website I could go to for more info, she gave it to me - I visited it right away. The "Debt-to-Wealth" program is by a guy named John Cummuta, found lots of positive info on him & his programs. Only negative was a post from somebody stating that they thought it was overpriced ( I think $299 ) but still very good info. Although John Cummuta's system was interesting, there is no business opportunity with it.
So, I searched on and I found what led me to ask all of you for your opinions of...Everyday Wealth. EW seams to offer a similar product to that of John Cummuta’s, only with a business opportunity attached to it. I won't bore you with all the details; you can search & easily learn about them. I am just putting this out there to see if anybody has an opinion or experience they could share to help me & others in my/our search for info on them.
From what I have dug up so far, I am interested in this opportunity. Anybody see any flags I have missed?

Thank You MaaMaw for a great site !

NOTICE TO SCUMBEEZLES
(you know who you are... you scream "Foul!" when the truth comes out)
PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT.  It has been done before, but never successfully.  In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace.
NEWS FLASH:  I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday.  I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish.  I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?).  I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!"
Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures.

By posting messages and/or content on the Friends In Business (Scams 101) Message Board, you give permission for Lesley Fountain/Friends In Business/Shoestring Success Publications to display, distribute and use the posting and content for publication, advertising, promotion, excerption or example.         In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact.
And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!).
