I don't know if the thread is jumbled up yet (that happens when they get near the bottom of the board), but at this point, the only response I see is Kimberly Bollman's, and this is the part that got me rattled:
"If you would like to discuss this further, feel free to email me at itskimsemail@aol.com . I am not going to pitch you, I just rather this type of conversation be done OFF the boards."
Of course you are welcome to have as many private discussions as you like with anyone you choose, but I wanted to tell you personally that I feel exactly the opposite (and I'm judge, jury, executioner, and chief baker in these parts).
I don't know about "the boards" in general, but *this* board is a PERFECT PLACE to discuss such things. It's one of the main reasons we're here.
Newbies, Wannabes, and Potential Victims need to read stories like yours -- written by rational, articulate people who worked the system and did everything they were supposed to do and still lost their shirts.
All too often, such stories read like sour grapes. I don't see how anyone could mistake yours for sour grapes, and that's what makes it so valuable.
Please... feel free to come here anytime and share your experience or ask for advice.
I hope you're reading this.
Sorry again that I didn't jump in. I do try to be a good hostess, but my good intentions frequently get derailed.
