I know a lot of MLMers will want to smack me for this, so I thought I should qualify my statement.
If you start your own MLM, you are going to make a fortune. Even if it collapses, you will make a fortuna before then.
If you get in TRULY "on the ground floor" (as in, you're one of the Founding Fathers), you will most likely make a fortune because there are bzillions of people ready to jump into any and all "prelaunch" and "ground floor" opportunities. Of course the company might be gone next month and some people won't feel very good about the carcasses they left in their mad dash to the bank, but some people won't give a rat's ptooty and will move on to the next opportunity to once again Bulldoze the Believers.
Then again, you can get into an MLM that is almost completely "product driven" (Watkins and Mary Kay come to mind) (there are others) and recruiting is neither here nor there, and if you are a salesperson, you can do very well.
Maybe that will cut down on the number of people who come here to pulverize me.
