FIB - Scams 101 - Ye Olde Archives

Oh, I wasn't suggesting that your team spend the money. I was suggesting that YOU spend it.

Yes, but your figures indicated you could afford it.

And you asked about growing YOUR business... not that of your team members. It only makes sense to show them how to buy advertising on this most effective system or to do it on behalf of them.

> And your claim about 3,500 members being in the business hurting people's
> chances is WAY off. First of all there are over 300 million people in this
> country alone and the opportunity is a global opportunity.

Ah. You misinterpreted it. I indicated that the chances of someone finding a specific website was very small because there were 3,500 plus people selling this opportunity... so the top ones in the listing will always get the hits and the ones far below aren't going to get anything in hits, and your team members are going to "get it in the shorts", so to speak.

That will lead to them trying poor strategies like "buying leads" (spam) which can get their accounts canceled. So... yes, the opportunity is there but it's mostly there for them with the bucks. Since the new ones can't afford this, it would really pay off for YOU to do this and then give the knowledge back to the team.

> To prove this point I am sure you would be amazed to find out what one of

> this ... it's Amway, now known as Quixtar. They add 30,000 to 40,000 new
> distributors a month.

Got a source on that? This figure is quite out of line with their earnings... unless they're losing that number of distributors each month. That would have put them with nearly 2 million distributors after 4 years or about 5 million distributors after 10 years.

Now... if you figure that only half of our 300 million citizens in the US are adult, then that means that out of every 100 people you meet, three of them will be Amway/Quixtar dealers.

I meet lots of folks, and I just don't buy that number.

> Just because we are making money, doesn't mean we enjoy throwing it away.

Which you would't be doing if you advertised on Google. I think that the Jumpat site is obviously very ineffective and a waste of money and you really need to do some research and spend the money yourself so you can show your team how to advertise effectively on Google and what works best. You certainly don't want to recommend to the team that they use Jumpat.

And if your results are indeed typical, then your team members will be able to buy ad words on Google within three months.

NOTICE TO SCUMBEEZLES
(you know who you are... you scream "Foul!" when the truth comes out)
PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT.  It has been done before, but never successfully.  In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace.
NEWS FLASH:  I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday.  I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish.  I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?).  I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!"
Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures.

By posting messages and/or content on the Friends In Business (Scams 101) Message Board, you give permission for Lesley Fountain/Friends In Business/Shoestring Success Publications to display, distribute and use the posting and content for publication, advertising, promotion, excerption or example.         In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact.
And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!).
